Feminism is the worthy ideal of equality between men and women. However, it seems that some people from our society don’t understand this simple definition. Attaining “equality” means fairness for all – but those extreme modern feminists have seemingly redefined feminism into a belief that women must have more rights than men.

Self-declared feminists go too far, at least the ones that live in the Western world. Trying to abolish peeing standing up? I don’t understand how that is remotely relevant to the struggle for “equal rights and opportunities.” Feminism has turned nasty, and now includes a heightened sense of self. It’s turned into an all-out gender war. The modern woman is constantly trying to undermine men. Feminism has quickly transitioned from “Hey Bob, I think you’re a really good writer and I can acknowledge that” to “Hey Bob, I think all women are better writers than men, and that’s a fact.” Feminists have even gone so far to create their own category of rights – “women rights.” What exactly is that? If women have unique rights, then men should certainly have the same. Feminism is trying to push men out of the picture – it’s exactly why people like Jordan Petersen have such massive and devoted followings. So, let’s completely do away with the notion of having gender biased rights. Let’s build human rights up. Not everything is a gender-based affront.

The faster we acknowledge and celebrate the differences between genders, the faster we’ll achieve the equality we used to strive for. In today’s world, it’s blasphemous to event hint that women or men are superior to each other in any way. This is ridiculous. We are built differently and have our own distinct strengths and advantages. If I’m hiring movers, I’m going to hire a crew of men over a crew of women anytime. If I’m hiring an assistant, I’m going to hire a woman because of their superior organizational skills. Equality does not mean being purely equal – that will never happen. Getting close to achieving equality of opportunity is the real goal.  

It’s quite clear that some women in the Western world have been taking it too far for a while now. What has modern feminism given us in 2018? A full-out gender war where trust between the sexes is declining by the day. Men must be part of the solution, but now they are being told to “shut up, listen, and take it.” This kind of attitude will set women back decades – and we’re already seeing a male backlash due to feminist extremism in many parts of our society. Feminism is necessary – just not this bastardized version. Western women are taking it all beyond the original fight. It almost looks like feminists are fighting for extra perks at this point – a completely antithetical pursuit. Ladies, we’re now becoming part of the problem. We have to dial it back before it’s too late.
