7th Amsterdam City Swim Cancelled Due to Insufficient Water Quality

Every year, the Amsterdam City Swim brings thousands of people to the capital city. It surely is a strange sight –one day a year, the city’s rather placid canals are invaded by swimmers from all over the country and turned into a two-kilometer race route. Amsterdam Gets a Taste of Indian Cuisine

Last Sunday, above 3000 gathered at Dok Amsterdam, one of the most famous festival locations in the city, from 1pm to 11pm to celebrate the Indian culture. Food, music and dances turned the event into a celebration of the country.

I’m French. Am I a migrant, too ?

My grandparents or great grandparents on my mother’s side did not all stay in Venezuela their entire life. My grandfather had Italian origins and studied in both Spain and Mexico. His adoptive mother spoke several languages and had lived in  the Netherlands, Curaçao and Trinidad before going back to Venezuela.
